Please
Note: There are different
upgrade processes/guides to use depending on whether your library is
using

single or double-entry Borrower Financials (most sites will be using
single-entry Borrower Financials and should consult this documentation
first). Remember to also upgrade your

Any other products, such as
DIY/SIP2,

If your system is currently running a version of

assistance with
this please
contact Amlib
Support.
Libraries running
Amlib on
SQL Server 2005 or
2008 and
Oracle
10g or higher will be able to implement this new release.
Libraries currently using
Amlib
on
SQL Base will need to
upgrade from
SQLBase to
SQL Server 2008 R2 Express Edition (
free
from Microsoft) before any upgrade to
Amlib v5.3. Please
contact our support staff
to discuss the migration path of your system from
SQL Base to
SQL Server. We realise that this
migration of
Amlib to another
supported platform may be part of a longer term plan for your library
and we are happy to work with you in this planning.
